Human Resources Management

Human Resources (HR) is one of the important assets in supporting the continuity of the Company’s business to date. Management practices are carried out responsibly and fairly in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, especially Indonesian Law no. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, as well as other relevant regulations and policies. This effort is aimed at producing superior and productive human resources to meet the Company’s operational needs which require a high level of precision and prudence, as well as creating harmonious industrial relations.

In prioritizing OHS, we ensure the existence of adequate OHS facilities and infrastructure throughout the Company’s work environment, including:

  • Ambulances;
  • safety patrol cars;
  • water trucks;
  • signs along haul roads and in mines;
  • warnings for safety at mine sites;
  • 24-hour clinics;
  • light fire extinguishers (APAR);
  • personal protective equipment (PPE) and first aid in accidents (P3K); as well as
  • fogging tool.

Competency development related to OHS is carried out periodically to increase the understanding and awareness of the Company’s people in OHS aspects in their respective work fields. In addition, we also carry out several activities to strengthen OHS management, namely:

  • Carrying out routine and periodic health checks for all employees; and
  • Carrying out disease prevention measures and a healthy culture through routine morning exercises and fogging at several work locations.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We are committed to continuing to make a positive contribution to the social and economic welfare of the community in a sustainable manner. We seek to create a balance on the triple bottom line, which consists of people (society), planet (environment), and profit (benefits). One form of this commitment is realized through the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs which are held every year. The legal basis for its implementation includes:

• Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 38 of 2014 concerning Implementation of the Mineral and Coal Mining Safety Management System;

• Government Regulation No. 47 of 2012 concerning Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Companies;

• Indonesian Law no. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies;

• Indonesian Law no. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower;

• Indonesian Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection; as well as

• Indonesian Law no. 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety.

The implementation of our CSR program is focused on the pillars of infrastructure development, improving the quality of health and education, religious support, economic independence, and other social fields.

Public Complaint Facility

We have provided a means of managing complaints from the public, whether related to the implementation of PPM or other complaints. Each report received will be followed up through the HSE and CSR Departments which will conduct an investigation and verify the truth of each complaint report.  Throughout 2022, there were no reports from the public received by the Company.
